Cvent
Cvent is an event management platform where I work on the Exhibitor Management team, developing tools for exhibitors. I transitioned from a co-op role to full-time after graduating in 2021, focusing on maintaining Node.js microservices, modernizing a React application to Next.js, and optimizing our build process, achieving a ~20% reduction in build times.
Solace (Internship)
At Solace, I worked on the Cloud team, developing tools for managing the infrastructure of the Solace Cloud platform. I simplified DevOps workflows with a web-based UI using AureliaJS, contributed to the initial version of PubSub+ Cloud, and improved codebase health by implementing Swagger Doc annotations for better documentation and client code generation.
Solbits (Internship)
At Solbits, a freelance consulting company, I developed a MacOS productivity app for scheduling and task tracking, marking my entry into the software industry. I collaborated with a small team to build the app using Swift and AppKit, integrated Apple CDKs, and implemented a text processing algorithm for recognizing dates and creating calendar events from Markdown text.
